From Small Town to Big City

I moved from a small town in Gyeongsang-do to Seoul for college. The big city life can be sometimes overwhelming. But there's one thing I never get tired of—Han River.

    Magnificent Han River

Han River, or "Hangang," is a huge river running through the city. A taxi driver told me 'Han' means 'very big.' Not many even big international cities have such a big river, making it special.

    A Peaceful Escape

Whenever I need a break, I head to the Han River. Walking, running, or just sitting by the water is so relaxing. It’s the perfect place to clear my head and unwind.

    Exploring Hangang Park

Han River park is a favorite spot. Nice paths for walking or biking. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view.

Night Market and Han River Cruises

In the summer, there’s a night market with food and fun things to do. You can also take a Han River cruise. Especially at night, the city lights reflect on the water, creating a beautiful sight.

    Relax and Enjoy Nature

Han River is a peaceful escape in the city. It’s a place to relax and enjoy nature. I hope our Fake Buddies members and anyone visiting Seoul check it out. Han River in Seoul is always worth a visit.
